Paper Sculptures Workshops

For more of my art class,
please visit The Cat Library.

During the school holidays in March 2012,
we had a 3-day Paper Sculptures Workshop.

On the first day, children made their sculptures
using old news paper, wire and masking tape.

The second day was pasting day.
Children covered their sculptures with white mahjong paper.

On the final day, they decorated them by applying poster colours or acrylic colours.
Some also added other decorations like coloured paper.
Then a thin layer of clear paint was sprayed on the sculptures
to protect the colours and to add a glossy surface to them.
